Personal data privacy is a fast growing global opportunity
Government bodies around the world are beginning to legislate how website operators can collect, use, access and share personal data online. A website privacy policy used to be enough to keep you in the good books with your customers and regulatory bodies, but increasingly as a website operator you need to do much more to protect your customer data and inform your customers if you are tracking what they do online. These requirements have created a completely new market opportunity for cost-effective services like Tagcert, which is for website operators who need to understand what personal data they are collecting online and how it is being used all year round.
Cookie auditing and monitoring is an immediate requirement
Cookie auditing and monitoring is fast becoming a business necessity for website owners around the world. New regulatory activities in the European Union, United Kingdom and the United States mean website operators need to gain consent from website visitors if they are using cookies to identify and store information about their visitors. Website operators around the world require a service that will constantly audit and monitor what cookies they are using and the precise data they are collecting. This was the inspiration for Tagcert, a cookie auditing and monitoring service for corporate, government, ecommerce and media organizations to help them deal with new regulatory realities.
